Question
Define the search mechanism, market behavior or decision that is worth testing. State what would change if the result goes one way or another.
KeenSight Research
Search systems are dynamic, personalized and difficult to observe directly. KeenSight research therefore emphasizes repeatable protocols, visible evidence, explicit limitations and a clear boundary between observation and interpretation.
This page describes the operating standard used for research reports. It is a methodology asset—not an empirical study and not evidence that any particular ranking or AI-search mechanism has been proven.
Research process
Define the search mechanism, market behavior or decision that is worth testing. State what would change if the result goes one way or another.
Specify platforms, queries or prompts, dates, geography or account context where relevant, sample rules, repetitions and collection procedures before interpreting the result.
Capture raw outputs, source URLs, screenshots, measurements and relevant technical states while preserving enough context to audit what was observed.
Separate direct observations from interpretation. Compare patterns, outliers, competitors, source overlap and limitations without claiming more certainty than the design supports.
Connect findings to a search decision, implementation hypothesis or measurement change, then define what should be re-tested after the intervention.
Evidence handling
The report should state what kind of evidence a finding depends on instead of blending platform documentation, tests, field observations and inference into one confidence level.
Platform documentation and first-party technical guidance are used for claims about supported features, stated policies and documented mechanisms.
Controlled tests, measured datasets and well-described independent studies are used when a claim depends on observed behavior rather than platform documentation.
Repeatable field observations can be useful directionally, but they are labeled as practitioner evidence rather than treated as an official ranking model.
Mechanistic explanations and strategic hypotheses are stated as interpretation until evidence is strong enough to support a firmer conclusion.
Publication standard
Research question: the specific mechanism or decision being investigated.
Methodology: enough detail to understand sample, inputs, controls, context and collection protocol.
Evidence: figures, screenshots, tables, source URLs or other observations that support the analysis.
Findings: concise statements that do not exceed what the evidence can support.
Limitations: known constraints, uncertainty, confounders and reasons the result may not generalize.
Application: what decision or next test the finding informs.
Research integrity
Templates, mock figures and development-only reports are useful for testing the publication system, but they are not promoted as research evidence. A report is published only when its evidence, method and claims are ready for external scrutiny.
Annotated or derived images should be labeled as annotations or illustrations. Third-party imagery requires appropriate rights and attribution. Raw observations should be preserved when a derived presentation version is created.
Research + consulting
Bring the market, search surface, hypothesis or decision. KeenSight can structure the observation protocol and connect the evidence to the implementation decision it is meant to inform.
Make the question specific
Use the free visibility preview for a limited baseline, then choose a paid report, recurring benchmark, or managed service if the decision requires it.
