The KeenSight Search Visibility Method

KeenSight treats search visibility as an information system. The methodology connects technical discoverability, entity understanding, retrieval, authority, citation, recommendation and business measurement into one iterative operating model.

01

Discover and baseline the market

02

Audit technical, content, entity and local signals

03

Architect the search and internal-link system

04

Implement prioritized improvements

05

Measure rankings, citations, recommendations and conversions

06

Research, learn and iterate

01

Agree the business question

Start with the services, markets and customer decisions that matter to your business. Define the search experiences and competitors to review, and agree what the engagement needs to help you decide.

02

Build an evidence baseline

Review the selected search observations and relevant website signals. Document the scope and collection context so that a finding can be traced to its source rather than treated as an unexplained score.

03

Separate symptoms from causes

Investigate whether the gap relates to technical access, content, business information, local visibility or competitive evidence. Distinguish what is observed from explanations that still need testing.

04

Prioritize work and ownership

Agree the recommendations, required inputs and responsibilities. Your team can keep implementation, commission a focused project or use managed support within a defined scope.

05

Implement and review

Where implementation is included, work follows the agreed priorities and approval process. In recurring engagements, compare compatible observations to see what changed and what needs further investigation.

06

Keep the limits visible

Report findings within the markets and search experiences measured. A ranking change or AI mention is not proof of a business outcome, and an improvement after a change does not by itself establish its cause.
